Do my divorce decree/documents need legalization before my up comming wedding?

Some divorce decrees might need legalization. No other documents need legalization.

Legalization of documents from below mentioned countries are NOT needed:

Divorce decrees from all other countries need an Apostille Certificate or legalization.

If the divorce decree is from a country (not mentioned above) that has signed the Hague Apostille Convention of 1961 the divorce decree needs an Apostille Certficate.

Legalization needed:

If the divorce decree is from a country that has NOT signed the Hague Apostille Convention of 1961 the divorce decree needs legalization.

If it is impossible to obtain legalization, the In House Lawyer of Global Express Wedding can help you solve this problem.

Do I need an Apostille Certificate on my new wedding certificate?

The Danish marriage certificate provided by Global Express Wedding is valid worldwide

To take full advantage of the Danish marriage certificate, it could be a good idea for certain nationalities and under certain circumstances to obtain an Apostille certification from The Danish Foreign Ministry. Whether an Apostille certification is desirable in each case is determined by the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. The Apostille verification process takes approximately 1-2 weeks.

At a price of €225 Global Express Wedding will take care of this formality on your behalf.
